What is Complementary Health Insurance?
Complementary Health Insurance (TSS) covers the extra fees charged at private hospitals contracted with SGK. If you have SGK coverage, you get private hospital comfort at an affordable premium.
How does it work? You receive care at an SGK-contracted private hospital; the state pays the SGK share and your insurance pays the difference. Only a small participation fee comes out of your pocket.

Anyone with active SGK coverage (4A, 4B, 4C) or registered as an SGK dependant can take it out. For those without SGK, private health insurance is the better option.
It is valid at private hospitals contracted with both SGK and the insurer. We check the network hospitals nearest to you at the quotation stage.
TSS only covers difference fees at SGK-contracted hospitals and costs much less. Private health insurance is independent of SGK and offers a wider hospital network and coverage.
